Wave 7 is notoriously difficult to find now, while earlier waves: especially wave 2, are very easy to obtain.
I think, in these later waves, production numbers were scaled back as the show's production began to wind down.
I think that production numbers were scaled down a bit after wave 2, and again after wave 4.

The style of packaging on this wave changed from the original blue/orange to brown/green, which I think was done to match the change in locale from the 99 Caverns to the Eastern Caverns in the last full season.

This wave had three new releases: 
	Ping, Negashade and Megamorph Frightgeist.
There is one straight re-release (from wave 5): 
	Makobreaker. 
At the same time, there are some interesting new variations of slugs issued in previous waves ...
	Solid, orange Megamorph Burpy (wave 4)
	A translucent, red, glittery Fire Elemental (wave 4)
	A glittery version of the translucent, blue Chiller from wave 5.
	A green, shiny version of Fandango
	A bronze, shiny version of Grimmstone
	A yellow/green, translucent version of Joules
