I watched through all of Knightmare not very long ago, which I saw a few times as a kid.
My wife was quite puzzled because she didn't perceive what it had meant to kids in the 90s as opposed to adults in 2015.
To me it was about dragons and wall monsters and buzz saws and she watched one episode and said:
"So it's just a kid standing there with a bucket on his head"?
